I like column authors, but it's annoying when they put a teaser subject out there, then don't provide a place to comment. What's the point if no one else can express their thoughts?
This one says "I'd like to hear what others have to say about this matter. E-mail me at tequitia@yahoo.com with your comments."

Tequitia, I love the question you've posed and would like to reply. My comment is you need to provide a public comments link rather than your individual email. These days it's just noise to your readers if you don't. Since you're writing for a religious website, I recommend asking your employer to have comments independently monitored for civility before they are posted.

Intro to my world - CAUTION & DISCLAIMER
Hello everyone,
This is my first blog ever. My wife Penny is encouraging me to start it. I imagine it's because I'm so opinionated. Which is a skill I've carefully developed over time.
I'll start by saying there will be no consistent topic, so that might confuse you. Also that I form opinions through the things I hear and read but also by quantitative information and facts. So I might back up what I say with information sometimes. Some will consider it fun & educational, others offensive, and my great hope is that some will be CONFOUNDED by what I argue here. In all cases, I will work to have intelligent exchanges with you and everyone else who engages me through this blog. Consider yourself warned.
Love, Duane
